Incorrect serial Number ?

Apple support is telling me my 2015 Macbook Airs Serial number is incorrect and won't accept it. When i have triple checked it and it is correct. As I'm trying to log into customer support but I can't get past that step.. what can i do ?

Thanks JimmyCMPIT but it still says my serial number is invalid even after looking in 'About my Mac' and in the Surface of my mac too ?
