Selling a Macbook Pro 15.4 Late 2011 w/ a bad l...

Yesterday my computer was working fine and suddenly my screen goes blank. I shut it down manually and waited a couple of minutes before turning it back on. I took it to Apple and the technician did a test. The test failed and he said it was the logic board and Apple doesnt repair because its considered "vintage" I knew going into this if I had to fix anything I would just dump the computer for a newer one. Now that I have no use for my macbook, is it possible to sell for parts? Is it possible to sell "as is" with a bad logic board? The computer is in pristine condition with no scratches, cracks, or dings since I took great care of my things. I just want feedback on how I can get the most out of this macbook with a bad logic board. Thanks in advance.
