How can I monitor my 8 yr olds texts and email ...

We gave our daughter an iPad mini for christmas. She is really excited to text her friends. So i set up a family apple ID account so she could text and not see all of my texts. But can i keep an eye on hers other than on the iPad?

If you are looking for a feature that forwards all of a device's messages and emails to another device, that feature does not exist. That would be a security and privacy nightmare.

If you log in on your device to your daughter's email account, you will be able to access her email.

However, you cannot be logged into two iMessage accounts simultaneously. You obviously cannot have two phone numbers or SIM cards on one device simultaneously either.
