Red line on external monitor

Hi guys.

Recently I noticed a red line that appears only on my external monitor as you can see here: Dropbox - Screen Shot 2017-10-12 at 10.26.02 (2).png . It appears in the same spot every time, usually if the battery drops under 80% I think.

It disappears if you click on that section.

Laptop: Macbook Pro 15" - 2016

Display: Dell U2414H - connected with hdmi + usb-c adapter.

Any idea what can be?
