Interval timers are not working on Apple Watch

I am searching for the custom intervals timer for the Apple Watch for quite a lot of time. I want something as simple as:

  • set couple of activities
  • assign different times to them
  • be able to see the passing of the time and get notifications on my Apple Watch.

I tried lots of timers: Chronic, Intervals, Seconds Pro ($5), Timer+, MultiTimer, Timers ($5). All of them but one, are buggy, crash, don't display time right or fail to push notification. One app that work and isn’t buggy is Seconds Pro. Unfortunately I have to use it with a workaround: in order to run it I have to choose some workout. It wouldn't bother me, but at the end of the process (even if I discard the workout) my apple rings are showing that I was exercising. I messaged the developer and this is the response I received:

“Unfortunately, in order for Seconds to stay open while the screen is off it requires a workout session on the watch. It appears that regardless of whether you save the workout or not, simply having this workout session active adds to the rings.”

It’s really unfortunate that Apple isn’t able to provide development enviroment for something as basic as custom timers. One would think that time measuring functions would be prioritized in Apple Watch ecosystem. Currently either your exercises rings will be messed up or you wouldn’t be able to use this function at all.
