Battery Question

My battery on my MacBook Air completely discharged. It’s now plugged in and charging but I have an issue with websites. Would the low battery affect signing into some websites?  The sites, Amazon for example, works fine on my iPad Pro. It’s on the same WiFi network as laptop however laptop keeps saying site is not secure and only opens up text nothing else. But works fine elsewhere. Does the low battery have anything to do with it even though it’s plugged in:
