Files (iOS 1) wants to preview text files in Go...
I have quite a few text (from TextEdit) files on my Mac that I’d like to view from my iPad. I am trying to use the new Files app, and every time I wish to view a text file, it wants open it in Google Drive (and that process always fails). Removing Google Drive solves that particular problem, except that I need Drive installed to access anything stored there. Reinstalling Drive gets me back to square one.
This happens on my iPhone too.
Does anyone have a suggestion or solution?
Unfortunately other than waiting for an update from Google, there's not much to do. For some reason Google takes over the associations of files and tries to open everything.
Have not found a way around this other than to remove Google Drive.
