Help!  I cannot reinstall iTunes

 

After re-installing Windows 10, iTunes will not re-install.  I have followed the procedure outlined in Apple Support to delete all iTunes, Bonjour, Apple support, etc folders and files in Control Panel, Program Files, Program Files (x86) and Common Files.  I have invested over 8 hours in trying and re-trying.  I re-booted after each folder/file purge.  Still no success. Same error code every time (above).  I do not know what to do next.  Help!

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. When reinstalling right click on the downloaded setup file and use run as administrator. It may also help to pre-install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable.
