Ping for some, not all, mail accounts

I know I can set my preferences to have all my accounts' mail servers ping every minute, or five minutes, or whatever.

 

But I have one account I never want to check. Is it possible to ping the servers of some of my accounts, but not all of them? None of these accounts are Google, Yahoo, etc. We access them via Mac Mail, but hardly ever via webmail.

Apple Mail checks all online, configured Mail Servers at the specified Preferences : General : Check for new messages interval. There is no individual Mail Server interval setting available.
