Apple Led Cinema Display model A1267 with MBP 2...

Hello,

I just buyed the HyperDirve Ultimate USB-C hub with the idea to use it to connect my Apple Led Cinema Display with mini dsiplayport connector to it and use my MBP 2017 with that monitor as external monitor.

The problem is that everything is working but the image. I am not getting image on the monitor and the Mac doesn't even detect the monitor. I get sound on the monitor.

I was in contact with the support people and they say that the problem may be that the monitor doesn't support 1080p or 4K. I was making some research and it seems that the monito it does support 1080p but I am not 100% sure.

The monitor is from 2010 and the optimal resolution is 1920x1200 and also support 1280x800 and 1024x600.

Does the monitor support 1080p?

The last answer I got from the support people was this:

"you are connecting a mini display port from your Apple Lead Cinema Display  to the mini display port of the hub it should work so long as your display can handle 1080 or 4k"

Has anyone else used this hub with a Apple Led Cinema Display with mini displayport in a mbp 2017?
