Tired of Deleting Text Messages from Watch

Running Apple Watch 2.1 with iPhone 6s running iOS 9.2

In addition to deleting each iMessage/text from my watch one at a time in the 2 step process (slide left, tap X & then tap delete after 2 or 3 second delay for both incoming & outgoing) that were already deleted on my iPhone (6s), I have run into an issue that surfaces after all actual messages are deleted from the watch. For some reason a few "blank" messages are still present on the watch. Some have just an old date & others just have a "0" in the message. None of these ever appeared on my phone. I do the 2 step delete process on my watch but more appear a few days later when I delete the normal messages again from the watch (even thought everything was deleted from the phone)??? I have a screen shot below if you would like to see them.

Hi just delete text from iPhone then it will be deleted on watch.

This is incorrect.

(As Denis is already aware: Easier way to delete text messages on the watch versus one by one? )

Hello Folks. Thanks for getting back to me. I guess I know that you have to delete each message individually. BTW the 2 step method I quoted in my original post was incorrect. My Bad. It should have read: Swipe left, tap the trash garbage basket & then a few seconds later tap the trash rectangle.

Is the issue with the crazy blank messages(see screen shot in 1st post) appearing after I delete the legitimate message a system wide issue or is it just happening to me for some reason? I've played around turning off & on the "mirror my iPhone" setting on the iPhone and it still occurs either way.

I too am having the blank text message Apple Watch issue

Have you found a raise off to this yet?

I am having the exact same issue. All of my apple devices are up to date with software. Currently when I delete a message off my apple watch it either leaves a blank message, or does not delete at all.

Having major issues with this feature of the watch and probably will stop wearing it until its fixed.
