Can I change the chords on a midi instrument th...

I was looking through the synth midi instruments in Logic and some of them have chords already set, with the note you play being the root of the chord. But they all seem to be major chords with no option for even changing them to minor. Is there any way I can edit the chords so that I can actually use these instruments? Or an option to use the synthesizer without the preset chords? Because I like the sound of the synthesizers used for some of them.

Yes, you can but it totally depends on if it is using a sampled chord or if it is using a Track stack or MIDI FX to achieve this.
