songs misidentified on iPhone

Over the last couple of months, I have purchase some albums off the iTunes store and when they are transferred to my iPhone 7 plus, all of the songs from that album are attributed to the same artist (if it is a compilation), or they are all the same song (if it is an album by a single artist).

The strange thing is that another album purchased at exactly the same time will be transferred perfectly fine.  And to top everything else off, on iTunes on my computer, they all are normal.

I'm not sure how to fix the messed up songs on my iPhone.

And I'm not sure whether the problem is iTunes, iMac, or iPhone.
