iPad app store updates not working

There are two iPads in our household, an iPad 2 and an iPad Mini,. Both are running the latest IOS 6.1.3

On both the App Store badges show updates are to be done but the update page in the app is blank.

I updated some app in the purchased tab, but not all apps show there.

Since this issue arose simultaneously on both devices I suspect it is something Apple did.

If you scan this forum, there are a number of users reporting this very same issue. This seemed to start last night and it appears to be something that Apple needs to fix.

Same problem here with a small twist. I accessed my 'Purchased' tab and saw that one app said update rather than open. After updating this app the bubble count on the App Store icon dropped by one. Unfortunately no other apps show up with the update button.

Can't edit post on an iPad...I didn't catch that the OP stated the same thing.

I'm having the same problem.  Just two days ago on my iPad 4 it showed I had 4 apps with updates on the app store icon and within the app store under updates, however when I go to the update tab after the page loads it shows nothing only a blank page.  Today it showed I had 7 updates and again after the update page loads, it remains blank.

I'm having the same issue. Has anyone figured out how to fix this?

I am having the same issue...the App Store indicates I have 5 updates but when I attempt to access updates I get a white screen.  Is this  an apple problem or a problem with my ipad?  Has anyone found a workable solution?

Im having the same problem for the second day now

I've got the same problem.  Had 3 Apps requiring update yesterday, and now I'm up to six.  Update page remains blank.

I was having the same problem on my iPad 4 but my iPhone 5 was working fine.  Knowing the most recent apps that updated I deleted them from my iPad and reloaded them. This fixed the number of updates I needed however I don't think it fixed the problem with the App Store. Strange that it only affects the iPad and not the iPhone.

I'm having same issue with my ipad rev. 3. 

Tried reboot. Tried signing out of account. 

Final attempt will be trying sync with iTunes.

I am having the same problem on the iPad But not on my iPhone 5. I am able to update my apps through the purchased screen though.

Here is a work around to get your apps updated:

1. Open App Store

2. Select Purchased

3. Tap on the A at the left to start with all purchased apps with the letter A

4. Scroll down through purchased "A" apps and look for UPDATE next to the app instead of OPEN.

5. Continue through alphabet until you've found all apps to be updated.

NOTE: When you open the Purchased tab in the App Store, the default view is Recent purchases, that is why not all your purchased apps show up initially.

Thank you. I was able to update a few. This still doesn't fix the problem if the remaining icon and blank screen.

I'm having the same issue with my iPad 2.  I'm doing app updates just fine with my iPhone 4S, but my iPad 2 always shows a blank screen.  This has been going on for a couple of days a now.

I tried rebooting my iPad, but that didn't help.

After reading the other posts here, I'm pretty sure it's something that Apple has to fix on their end.

Hopefully they'll get things ironed out soon.  In the meantime, everything else seems to be working just fine.  I just can't update apps on my iPad.
