How do I delete a movie from recently added iTu...

Hello:

I am trying to delete a movie from my "recently added" iTunes menu. I tried to drag it to my desktop, but it wouldn't budge. I tried to drag it to the trash, and it wouldn't move. How can I do this?

You can not unless you delete it completely from your library.  Recently Added is a smart playlist and the content is generated according to properties of the files, unlike regular playlists where you add and delete content yourself.  You would have to change the playlist rules so you either exclude all movies, or only have it contain movies two days old, or something like that.

I would like to delete the movie from my library. I don't want it anymore. So how can I delete it entirely from my library. How can I do that?

Uh, well I do it with command+option+delete but this may not be what you want.  It bypasses warning messages.  I also use an 8 year old version of iTunes.

If it isn't working from the smart playlist look at it in your Movies folder library and try pressing delete.

Delete the selected playlist from your source pane without confirming that you want to delete it - Command-Delete

Delete the selected song from your library and all playlists - Option-Delete
