Shared albums suddenly disappeared

My shared albums and the shared folder have suddenly disappeared from Photos on my MacBook Air. The iCloud photo sharing option is ticked and previously functioned correctly.  The shared albums are still viewable on all my other devices.

is it ticked both in the System Preferences > iCloud > Photos > Options   and in the Photos > Preferences > iCloud?

It is ticked in both. Am looking st systems library

Try to disable both checkmarks, then restart the Mac, and enable them again. It can take a long time, until the albums will appear again.  Get help using iCloud Photo Sharing and shared albums - Apple Support
