Actually the only way is to patch/hack macOS Sierra with the file IOAudioFamily.kext from El Capitan in /system/library/extension. In my case I didn't install macOS Sierra on my macbook since it's mainly used to play audio files. I'm waiting for a correction from Apple.

Still the same problem with High Sierra. Damien (Audirvana programmer) is saying that Apple is beeing deaf to his requests. This is an important point, Audirvana is considered as the number one HiFi audio reader over the world. A Windows version will be release at the end of this year. It would be really a shame that a Mac native software runs better on PC.

So please APPLE enable that feature again on Mac OS !!!
