iOS downgrade from backup
I have iTunes backups such as iOS 9.3.5. Can I use the backups to recover a device with iOS 9.3.5 or will it fail as iOS 9.3.5 is no longer registered on the Apple servers? If it failes I assume the settings will install to the iOS version on the device and it will download what it needs as usual? Likewise if I have a iOS 11.0.0 backup it will download and restore the older iOS as its still registered on the Apple server but only while it lasts?
Thanks in advance
No.
There is no way to go back
