Tips for using quick type keyboard

I just updated my iPad software to IOS 11.0.3 and cannot figure out how to shift easily from one keyboard to the next.  Is there a function key or any other tip for doing so?  Thanks. 

The new virtual/software iOS keyboard uses flicks/finger drags in the keys to access alternate symbols/characters.

The iPad keyboard still has the bold shift arrow keys or labeled “shift” keys on either side of the virtual keyboard.

The Globe symbol shifts between the different keyboard types.

Thanks!  I watched apples support for iOS and saw the finger flick there.  Took a bit of practice but I’m good to go.
