ipad incompatible app synced from iphone now un...

An app which I loaded onto my iphone a few months ago sync'ed to my ipad air and since iOS 11 update the app does not appear on the device except in the update list. It won't update saying "This app requires specific features not available on this device" and there is no option to delete it from the update list. Because it does not appear as an app anywhere else on the device I cannot delete it all.

I have tried deleting it on my iphone hoping that might 'sync the deletion' on the ipad, but no.

Apple have removed the ability in iTunes to manage and arrange apps on a connected device so need help to sort this?

On your iPad, try Settings>General>iPad Storage. Let the list of apps load. Be patient, it can take 20 seconds or so if you have lost of apps. See if the app appears in the list. If it does, tap on it and then you can delete it in the next screen.

For a moment I thought you had the answer, but it is not listed there either! Thanks anyway.
