MacBook loads websites much slower than MacBook...

I have MacBook and MacBook Pro. Both rather new. It is unbelievable how much slower MacBook is when for example loading web pages. The same page, same wifi , it always takes 2 times longer to load the same website for MacBook. MacBook Pro is much faster in everything. How is this possible ? Is MacBook really that bad, even in such a trivial process ?

How can we tell you something without knowing the Mac modes and the software configuration you own?

Anyway, just in general, you can run this tool: https://etrecheck.com/ and check the performance, if you want in case of problem you can post here the full report.

I did. MacBook performance is "below average". How can I post here the full report ? Just copy paste ?

From this report I see that the app Reaper64 is causing a problem of High CPU utilization and with such CPU you have you don't have to expect such big performance

No, this is not the point. Even with no other application open, every website takes 2-4 times longer to open on MacBook than on MacBook Pro (clicking at the same time, both next to each other). Very sluggish. And opening a website is not really something to be called a "big performance" .

Hi, the point is that these processes are using heavily your CPU:

   23.58 WindowServer

     19.48 SGDawNodeService

     10.52 REAPER

      1.42 Adobe CEF Helper

The first one is due the operating system itself and should just be a temporary hit value. The other two not instead. 20% for SGDawNodeService and about 11% be REAPER.

While REAPER can be an App, SGDawNodeService looks to me a daemon which runs in background slowing down your system.

I haven't found specific information for Mac, but the same process exists also for Windows and it's related Waves SoundGrid that you have as well.

I bet that this software is slowing down your Mac. I would just try to remove it or see if there is an update for your Operating System.

Give also a try with https://malwarebytes.com/ to check if you have any malware on your computer (I doubt but better to check).

I did the same test after restart with no application running - the same result. Something could be wrong with HW ? Formatting and reinstalling could help ? I have no idea how to remove the mentioned sw processes

The do this: start in safe mode and see if you have the same issue: Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support

Can you also specify which website you use for this test?

Any website, it does not matter. All load sluggish on MacBook. Tried many.
