Email Continually Crashing on iPad with iOS 10

My email keeps closing with iOS 10 on my iPad 4th Gen.  I can read a few emails and then the app just shuts down.  I've tried uninstalling the mail app and reinstalling.  I've also erased all settings and performed a hard reboot to no avail.  Any suggestions or fixes?

Try to sign out from your iCloud account and sign in back again.

I tried signing out and back in to my iCloud account.  Email app is still crashing.

Hi

Go to settings Email accounts delete accounts then add them back again .

Cheers

Brian

BrIan, I deleted the email accounts and re-added.  Application is still crashing.

I Have this same problem on my gen 4 iPad but not my iPhone 5s. My email crashes when I'm deleting email in succession after I get to about the 4th one.

Bigshoes, that is my scenario as well.  iPhone 6 Plus has no issues just the iPad.

same issue here on iPad 4. No issues on iPhone  6s.

I did a complete wipe of the iPad today and reinstalled the apps.  Still have the crashing issue.  Thought for sure the 10.0.2 update would correct this, but it didn't.  Very disappointed that this issue seems to be getting passed over.

I am having this problem too, I have tried all the suggestions, still crashing....

Same problem here. iPhone 5, iOS 10.0.2, MDM provisioned Exchange email account.

I was hoping with the new update, it would fix the problem....nope

I got the same here...iPad 4th Gen.

to install iOS 10 I deleted a game to make some extra room since it's just 16Gb. After installed, besides the email crash bug, I also got a feeling the system is lagging a bit.

I still have about 1Gb free and system would run normally before with less then 700Mb.

Thanx for that info... I will not even bother updating to that then...

It would be nice if Apple would acknowledge and fix this problem. Seems like lots of iPad 4 owners, myself included, are having this issue.
