Power Saving Mode for “Other” Workout

I would like to use power saving mode for “other” workouts such as strength training. What I’m trying to achieve is disabling the internal heart rate monitor in order to avoid any heart rate data taken by the apple watch when I have my chest strap connected via bluetooth. I know that the apple watch HRM is automatically disabled when an external heart rate monitor is connected but as it seems from the heart rate data I get from the Health app, there are a couple of measurements from time to time throughout my workout that are taken from the apple watch instead from the external HRM. If the power saving mode only works for running and walking then I would really appreciate any other alternative suggestion you may have to solve my issue. Thank you.

Hi

It is not possible to enable Power Saving Mode for Other workouts.

If your Apple Watch is intermittently losing connection with your external Bluetooth chest strap monitor, then it may help to unpair and re-pair the monitor:

It may also help to check for and, if possible, limit any potential sources of wireless interference:

The following steps may help:

If you would like to submit a feature request to Apple in respect of Power Saving Mode, then you can do so here:

I did all the above steps. I have no other bluetooth devices except my iphone. Do you recommend turning the iphone bluetooth off? Also, in settings the Polar H10 appears as not connected or not paired but it works fine, except around five to ten short moments during an hour of workout which the apple watch HRM takes over.
