Now that APPS tab no longer on iTunes

How do you expect ipad users to backup their ipad applications ?

I use iTunes (or did) to backup my company "numbers" info for customer billing.

Now without warning Apple has forced a download of the new release of iTunes that not only drops support for apps but leaves no alternative to backup my company ipad.    

Shame on you!!

Do you think for one minute people will continue to use Apple products when Apple chooses to drop support?
