when downloading cds from iTunes to my iPhone 8...

when downloading cds from iTunes to my iPhone 8, sevenof them downloaded,but three did not. They appeared grayed out with a dotted circle beside the songs. The songs were from cd’s I had downloaded onto my pc. They all uploaded to my iPad so I’m not sure why some of them did not work, but others did.
