Accessing all of my music in iTunes

I am having difficulty accessing all of my music in iTunes.  When I log into iTunes on someone else's computer, only the music that I have purchased is showing.  Also, that person's music is showing. Yet I am logged in as myself so only my music should show, and I want to see all of the music that I downloaded from CDs.

When I log into iTunes on someone else's computer, only the music that I have purchased is showing.

I want to see all of the music that I downloaded from CDs.

That music is not physically present on another computer. How do you expect to be able to see it? Do you have an Apple Music subscription, and has that music been synced to your iCloud Music Library?

Be aware that signing with your Apple ID and enabling Apple Music may lock all other Apple IDs out from signing in to iTunes on that Mac for up to 90 days?

The music is in my iTunes account. Not on any particular computer. When I go into my iTunes account on another computer, all my music is Not showing up. I’m using a PC not a Mac also.

The music is in my iTunes account.

Your CD based Music is not in iTunes. It may be in your iCloud Music Library if you have a paid subscription to either Apple Muisc, which is the section of the community you posted on, or iTunes Match.

Do you have a paid Apple Music subscription?

No I don’t have a subscription to Apple Music. However in the past, on my old PC, I saved a bunch of songs into iTunes either by downloading from a cd or by converting a YouTube file into mp3 form. Therefore I didn’t need to have a subscription to Apple Music. I simply went into iTunes and had access to my music. I was told by Apple that I had to have the pc updated and iTunes updated to the latest software. This pc is brand new and I did update iTunes so I don’t know why I can’t see all of my music. I never had a problem on the past. It is music that I saved into my iTunes so I should be able to see it when I open iTunes on any pc and log in. But for some weird reason I’m only seeing things that I have purchased, not anything that I downloaded myself.

Those songs are only on that PC. They are not "in iTunes"

You do if you wish to access that music from another device. Or a paid subscription to iTunes Match.

I have explained this already. That "old" music you got from somewhere other than iTunes purchases, lives only on that PC. If you migrate/move the library to your new PC, it will be there.

How to move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Support

Thanks for your help. I spoke with Apple tonight and they explained to me that the music is on that PC. Unfortunately I don’t have that pc anymore so I’m looking into transferring what I have  on my iPod into iTunes if that’s possible, Since I have all or most of my music transferred already onto my iPod. Do you know if that is possible?

Hi,
