Macbook pro retina 2015 (High Sierra 10.13.1) c...

I recently had my Macbook (above model) taken in for repairs; it has received a new display, a new logic board, LCD, and top case. Since I got it back, a completely new error has occurred a number of times. It tends to happen when either watching video on browser (this has happened on Chrome and Firefox) or when pressing 'back' having loaded up a website. Essentially, the screen briefly freezes, I get a somewhat 'snowy' effect, and around 1 in every 5 or 6 times the computer crashes and restarts. This hasn't happened in the previous 2+ years I've had the computer but it has since I received it back from Apple. I've disabled all browser plugins but it keeps happening, and also restarted the computer a couple of times. Not quite sure what to do. I have a Genius bar appointment next week but it would be good to hear whether anyone has had the same issue.

It sounds like the warranty will need to fix your computer - you had a LOT of essential things replaced - did you drop it or have a spill to cause you to have these items replaced ? A dropped laptop can have problems appear in the future as you put it through use. A functioning DVD drive for instance can slowly go out and eventually die.

Thanks for your help. It went in for repair because the battery was faulty, and the display was from a batch which led to the screen to scuff and scratch. The logic board was replaced because the original was damaged when they opened up the machine. It had been working perfectly until the repairs (other than a minor battery issue) so I don't think it can be anything I've done (though obviously I can't vouch for the guys who repaired it). Anyway, I was told they ran full diagnostics checks etc, so my assumption is anything big and underlying like that would have been picked up. Oh and on water damage I'm absolutely militant in keeping it away from liquid, having lost one in the past to exactly that!
