Software update not showing up

I have a mini iPad. Every time Apple pushes software update, it doesn’t show up. It states “Your software is up to date” with IOS 9.3.5. How can I get it to update to 11.0.3? Thx!

The original iPad Mini cannot be updated beyond iOS 9.3.5.

The way to get to iOS 11.0.3 or beyond is to purchase a new iPad.
