Location Services not working after iOS6 update

After updating to iOS 6 my ipad (3), Location Services no longer work, siri doesn't know where I am, 'Find My iPhone'cannot locate any devices, Maps cant find my position...and so on. I have double checked all seetings and they are correct. There was no problem under iOS5 on the same iPad. Does anyone know whats going on?

try to restore IOS6 maybe something went wrong when you updated.

Enable Location Service

Settings>Privacy>Location Service>On

Location services was on, as was Siri..

Not certain how to do a restore. I did a reset, made no difference. My partner's iPad 2 is suffereing from the same problem with her iPad 2 after iOS 6 update.

I have been looking elsewhere on the web, (apparently I'm not alone with this issue,) And it seems the problem may be with my router! I have recently changed devices.

I have same problem with my ipad 3.  Tried everything but no joy. My I phone works fine with software difference. Hope someone can help

This is good news! I am getting my first ever iPhone (5) next week (Hopefully) nice to know I can use location service on that at least.

Hard reset = solution

I have this same problem. The location services on my iPad were fine before the iOS 6 update. Hard reset / restore does not work, I have tried this several times.

Same here. Hard reset several times. Problem remains unresolved. I think its my router

I had the same problem. I reset network settings and the problem was solved. Easier than a hard reset.

Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

I tried that, still no joy. I suspect it may be because my new wireless modem/router may not be in the Apple database. Thankyou anyway.

I just got my new iphone and having similar problem. I went to turn off some location services, but the toggle switch stays stuck on "on".
