Cant see "Now Playing" on Apple Watch Series 3?

So today for the first time since buying new apple watch can't see "Now Playing" music coming from iPhone. Currently i have music playing on phone and it does not show this on my watch. Everything else is synced. Any Ideas?

Under watchOS 4.x, for controlling playback of music from your iPhone rather than the synced playlists on Apple Watch, then - other than by using Siri - it is necessary to first start playback on your iPhone before being able to control playback on your Apple Watch.

 

When you are already playing supported audio on your iPhone (whether via the Music app or a third-party app), the Now Playing app is shown automatically in the Dock on your Apple Watch and can be used to control playback on your iPhone.

 

If desired, Now Playing can be added to the Dock permanently and/or added to a watch face as a complication.

yeah thats the problem - it no longer shows on Apple watch dock when I'm playing audio on phone. It works via the watch face but looks like if it falls off recent dock items there is no way to get it back unless i temporarily add it to a watch face. Then it comes back to dock ... gonna test if it disappears again if i use other apps
