iTunes 12.7.0.166 is pretty much a total mess

I'm hoping Apple monitors these threads, and certainly welcome any feedback from the user community.

I haven't used iTunes in a while as I've not added music in some time. A friend gave me several hundred CDs and I am ripping them. I've noticed a number of issues with the interface in terms of features that have either apparently been removed and/or issues with the GUI not "remembering" what I was doing.

For example, in the old days, if one of your files (tracks from an album) didn't have album artwork in it, you could go to a track that did, click on the Artwork tab, press CTRL-C to copy it, and then paste it into the tracks that were missing artwork. You can't now.

When changing view (i.e., from Songs to Albums) and then back to Songs, iTunes doesn't remember how you left the view. The columns at the top for Genre, Artist, and Album shrink up to 3 lines (one is the header). This is also the case when inserting a CD. The CD screen comes up, and when you switch back to music, you aren't always taken back to the view you were using when the CD Import dialog came up. Sorting is forgotten. Even the location you were using (i.e., a specific song/album) that was highlighted is no longer in focus.

I'm sure there's more, but I've been ripping for several hours and am approaching brain dead with it all.

You should still be able to copy artwork from one track to others. Make sure to actively select the image you want to copy first from Get Info > Artwork tab, use Ctrl+C to copy, select the tracks you want to add to, Get Info, click the small artwork placeholder at the top and use Ctrl+V to paste.

The issue with column browser resizing has been noted by many Mac and Windows users. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next release.
