Payment information

I don't want a credit card linked to my account. However I purchased a prepaid Visa card, however it keeps rejecting every time I try to register my prepaid Visa card.

It may be possible to select None as your payment method. If you are not able to choose None (even for downloading free apps and updating existing ones), then the following support article explains why that is the case:

The payment method that you are trying to add may not be a supported payment method.

Follow the instructions here as appropriate, including checking that your address details fully match those on file with your card issuer / bank:

• Pay an unpaid balance in the iTunes Store - Apple Support
• Change or remove your Apple ID payment information - Apple Support
• Payment methods you can use in the iTunes Store, App Store, and iBooks Store - Apple Support
