2 watches on 2 devices but one activity app

My wife and I both have an Apple Watch and iPhones which are registered under the same Apple ID. The problem is that I’m using the activity app my activity data is showing on my activity app and vice versa. How do we separate theses so that we have individualised data for each user in their respective apps/iPhones. 

You need to have them assigned to different Apple ID’s.  With both of them on the same ID, they are doing exactly what they are supposed to and linking the data between them.  You can assign them different ID’s and put them on a family account so that you can still share purchased apps and things like that but this will keep the data between them separate.  Apple ID’s are designed to be used by one owner on THEIR devices.  Sharing the ID’s amongst multiple people is going to cause odd things to happen as you’re seeing.
