Get play count from old library

I was using an app to keep up with my iTunes library. It stopped working and I downloaded a secondary app in the mean time, however this app deleted about 300 songs and all the play counts from my library. I got the songs back (as they were still in the music folder) but I have no way of getting my play counts back. Is there a way to only pull the play count from an older library and merge it with the current library as I also do not want to lose any new information (names, plays, ratings, etc.)
