How do you add a hyperlink to an image in an em...

This question was asked by rbr00 back in 2006 and received no definitive working answers.  It is very simple (now?).  Having pasted the image into your email, click on it to select it, then go to the Mail menubar and select Edit, Add Link,  enter your web URL in the box, and click 'OK'. 

 

If anyone can advise how to do the same for a signature graphic (the company logo - ie click on the logo to go straight to the company's front web page), I would be pleased to hear from you.

An iMac cannot run iOS. What version of OS X are you running?

I know.  I assume the iOS reference came from clicking on the 'iMac related' tab when I posted - I have OSX 10.11.6 on an Early 2009 24" iMac.
