My icloud photos all showed location by date. T...

I have just looked at my photos after returning from holiday and they were all seperated by date and each date had the location of where they were taken on. I was going to move them to a new album but chnaged my mind and hit cancel. Now all the location information has gone and I dont know why. I really need this info. Advice please. Thanks
