How do I get music back even though I downloade...

I have just renewed my apple music subscription and i went to go play music and noticed all my music that i had on my playlist through apple music was missing. i added and downloaded all my songs so they should still be there correct?

Thank you for contacting Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it seems like the music you had downloaded from Apple Music is missing. One reason this can happen is if iCloud Music Library is disabled. I would recommend you read this article and use it to help troubleshoot the issue. 
 

 

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Go to Settings > Music, and tap iCloud Music Library to turn it on.

Turn on iCloud Music Library
