My iPad Pro doesn’t detect my Smart Keybo...

My iPad Pro doesn’t detect my Smart Keyboard. It keeps giving me an alert   “Accessory not supported “ How do I fix the issue? I do business on my iPad Pro and not having the use of my Smart Keyboard is having an affect on my work production due to having to peck at the keyboard on my iPad Pro. Very, very frustrating. Any help or a fix would be much appreciated.

Has any one else had or have this issue? And if so what did you do to fix it? I really need the use of my keyboard ASAP!!! Thanks in advance

Have you tried to force your iPad to reboot? Hold down the sleep and homekeys for 20 seconds or so until you see the silver apple. Then let go and let it reboot and see if that clears out the cobwebs and lets the keyboard work again
