Massages on new 2017 iPad showing ! But no mess...

Can anyone help after upgrade to new 2017 iPad and using iCloud back up of old pad.

i cannot get rid of the error !!!!! Showing on messages icon

all messages are deleted.

i have turned off messages and Facetime etc both on iPhone and new iPad then rebooted both machines then turned all on again but error still showing

Anyone had this problem?

It appears that no one has been provided a response to your post about this issue with your messages. Here are a few things that might help others answer this for you.

- Do you see this same exclamation point on your iPhone?
- When you say you turned off iMessage and FaceTime, did you simply disable or did you sign out completely?

I reset iPad to earier backup that had some messages still not deleted

I then ready each message one at a time and the error now gone

I can only think one was not read when I deleted and that showed the error

Many thanks for help all ok now
