in logic pro X certain tracks in every project ...

Ive been using logic pro x 10.2.4 for a few years now but recently had a break for about 6 months.

Now every time i open a project that i have made at least one track of the project is making echoing and distorted sounds that play even when i havent pressed play? this track is always record enabled then when i switch the red "R" off and play the track the echoing and distortion stops?

 

Even when i start a new project the standard software instrument piano sound plays fine but when i switch to anything else such as a synth or bass track the distorting and echoing comes back?

I have tried everything including disabling my audio interface and using the macs core sound but iit still occurs.

I also tried unpluggin my novation midi keyboard and using my mac qwerty keyboard and still every time i want to use an instrument that is not the standard piano sound the track echos and distorts and reapeats constantly!

IM LOOSING MY MIND OVER THIS

PLEASE HELP!!
