How to bypass passcode without using the power ...

How do I bypass a passcode on an iPhone 4 with a broken power button? I've tried with the power button but it stopped working. I need help. I also need help factory resetting it. My friend gave me her old iPhone 4 and she cant remember the passcode to reset it.

You cannot bypass the passcode.

If you enter the wrong passcode too many times, the phone will become disabled, and then your only choice will be to erase it and start over.

If it get to the point where it's disabled, here's how to erase it and start over:  If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

However, without a working power button, you will face some challenges. I'd recommend having it evaluated at an Apple Authorized Service Provider:  https://locate.apple.com/
