Is there an App where you can see you current h...

As far as I can tell, though you can see your current heart rate on the Apple Watch, I can’t find a way to see this number on my iPhone. 

Are there any apps that do this?

If not, is there a fundamental reason why this isn’t available?

When tracking your heart rate via the heart rate sensor on Apple Watch, it is not presently possible to view your current heart rate on your iPhone via the built-in apps.

You may find that a third-party app meets your needs. For example:

FitIV also does not show the current heart rate on the screen. It specifically says the the “Apple Watch does not function like a Bluetooth heart rate monitor”. 

This seems strange since itthe Apple Watch does monitor your heart rate, and can connect to Bluetooth.

So again, is there a fundamental reason why an App can’t show the current heart rate from the Apple Watch?   (Or better, point me to an App that does)
