itunes match songs with wrong titles

I am running Windows 10 with the latest version of iTunes. I have an iPad Air 2 running the latest iOS 11. I'm using iTunes Match (not Apple Music). I have two albums that show up fine in iTunes, and on two separate iTunes playlists (one a Smart Playlist that matches by artist, the other a manual playlist called "Core", as it contains the "core" music in my library...this is an important piece of information.

Everything is fine in iTunes. But these two albums show up on my iPad with the album name and all the songs listed as "core". If I play the songs, the correct title shows up in the mini player.

I have deleted both songs from the library and re-added them. They disappeared from the iPad, but when the albums were synced again, the same thing happened.

How can I fix this so the album and song titles appear correctly on my iPad?
