Cancel account

How do I cancel my account

iTunes accounts can't be cancelled (nor deleted), all you can do is remove personal details from it (e.g. payment details : Change or remove your Apple ID payment information - Apple Support), stop any subscriptions on it (see the page that you posted from), and stop using it (e.g. anything downloaded by an account is permanently tied to it, if you want to completely stop using it delete its downloads)
