should I up grade from El Capitan to Sierra

Mac Book Pro mid 2014  286GB

I resisted the upgrade as every time I upgraded, I ended up phoning for support to sort my Mac as it didn't go smoothly, now theres an upgrade to Sierra. I don't upgrade new upgrades till bugs sorted, so now Im behind.

Could I now upgrade to Sierra? And how do I?

Do you mean the newest OS, High Sierra? If so, I would wait for another point update or two, until they get more of the bugs worked out.

Even though High Sierra is out you can still upgrade to Sierra if you want.
