Please i need the up date for Canon EOS 6 d Mar...

Hi I'm looking for a solution to my problem with iPhoto and I communicated with Canon and they answer me this. I would like to see if we have solution may come in the new MacOS Sierra fall ????

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the RAW files from your EOS 6D Mark II. I'll be glad to assist you in working with them on your Mac.

As you may have learned, RAW files are a little different than JPEGs in that they are specific to the camera from which they originated. In other words, the RAW files from the EOS 6D Mrak II are a little different than the RAW files from the EOS 5D Mark IV, for example, even though both use the same .CR2 extension. In other words, your software must support the RAW files from your camera and not just for RAW files in general.

For every new camera that comes out, whether from us or from other camera manufacturers, software companies like Apple, Adobe, and Corel have to write new code to support the cameras. That's why it can take a few weeks or longer for companies to provide updates if they choose to provide updates for their current software version.

Apple has added support for most of our cameras, but according to this Apple link, they have not yet added support for your camera:

Based on what I've seen in the past for some of our other cameras, I anticipate that Apple will add RAW support for your camera soon, but you're welcome to check with Apple to see if they have any additional information for you.

You are not talking to Apple in these user-to-user public support communities. You have the link to the latest camera raw support information. The EOS 6D II was only announced by Canon on June 29, 2017. Apple is not going to pre-announce when this camera will be supported, and Canon likely knew when they communicated with you, but cannot violate Apple's privacy requirements.

When camera raw support for this camera becomes available, the HT207049 document that you have linked too, will update, and any Apple Camera Raw update will mention the new support in the Mac App Store Updates tab. There is nothing that you, or anyone here, can do to expedite the availability of this camera support by Apple.
