Edit or delete contacts

Note: If the following steps don't work, you're probably using the old version of Contacts. Go to edit or delete contacts in old Contacts.

Edit a contact

1. Go to Google Contacts.
2. Click a contact's name.
3. In the top right corner, click Edit .
4. Edit the information.
5. Click Save.

Note: You can't change details that automatically come from:

• Your contact's Google profile
• Your contact’s work, school, or organization
• Google Maps, if your contact is a business

Delete a contact

1. Go to Google Contacts.
2. To select contacts, check the boxes that appear next to their names.
3. To delete multiple contacts at a time, check all the contacts you want to delete.
4. In the top right, click More   Delete  Delete.
