Play Flash audio, video, and other content

The Adobe Flash plugin lets you hear and see Flash audio and video content on Chrome on your computer. If you're using a mobile device, Flash won't work on Chrome.

By default, Chrome asks if you want to run Adobe Flash when you visit a page that has it. Click to see the Flash content.

Let Flash videos, animations, and games play automatically

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More More and then Settings.
  3. At the bottom, click Show advanced settings.
  4. Under "Privacy," click Content settings.
  5. Find the "Flash" section.
  6. If you trust the websites you visit and want videos, animations, and games to be playable automatically, choose Allow sites to run Flash.

To allow Flash for only certain websites, click Manage exceptions. Enter a website, and set its behavior to "Allow." Learn more about allowing content on certain sites.

Block Flash videos, animations, and games from playing

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More More and then Settings.
  3. At the bottom, click Show advanced settings.
  4. Under "Privacy," click Content settings.
  5. Find the "Flash" section.
  6. If you don't want Flash content to be playable, choose Block sites from running Flash.
