office 365 products unusable after updating ver...

I have the latest 2017 Macbook Pro running high sierra. Office 365 products are freezing and barely usable after updating yesterday to the latest version. Especially Outlook is unusable can't even type up email and send! Is anyone else experiencing the same issues?
