Why is My iTunes is not accepting my card?

Tried to add a card onto my profile and it says it’s declined 

Is it a credit card issued by your bank with your name on it?

When declined it means your bank rejected the Authorisation Holds.

Try another card or buy an iTunes gift card and redeem.
